Murewa Training Centre

Murewa Training Institute is a Training Institute under the Public Service Commission. It was formerly a District Development Fund (DDF) training centre that was handed over to the Ministry of Public Service Labour and Social Welfare in 1982. Over the years, it has been moved from the Public Service Labour and Social Welfare to Public Service Commission, from Public Service Commission to Ministry of Public Service, then to Ministry of Public Service Labour and Social Welfare and back again to Public Service Commission in late 2017.

To be the preferred choice in need based human resource training and development in Mashonaland East and beyond.

Mission

To ensure efficient and effective service delivery in public and private offices through focused training interventions consistent with national development policies and programmes.

Training Personnel

Training personnel at Murewa Institute are highly qualified. They are University graduates with further professional training in various human resource development disciples. As an Institute, we boast of a track record of unsurpassed service delivery.

Methodology

Much of the training is job related. Trainers employ participatory methods in all training activities. Further, training is also competence bases and results oriented.

Target Population

The target population comprise of government employees, development agents and the general public in need of our courses and services.
